The Shaking Has Begun! Part II

Greetings, Friends in Christ! I would like to share with you a word from the Lord that came to us at the beginning of this year, saying that, "That which can be shaken in 2010 will be shaken, so that the things which cannot be shaken will remain." In addition, "many, because the Lord's hand of judgement has been stayed, have mistaken that to mean that the Lord does not have eyes to see what they are doing, and have thus taken his slowness to anger as consent to continue to blatantly violate his clear directives." Friends, may each of us develop eyes to see, and ears to hear what the Spirit is saying to the church in this hour. Ready or not, 2010 is here, and the shaking has begun! The earthquake in Haiti remains a tragedy of tremendous proportions, yet even in the midst of the atrocities there have been countless testimonies of the power of God in active operation as many lives were miraculously preserved underneath the debris and rubble of that city! I remind you that it was the Lord Jesus Christ who warned that in the last days there would be wars, rumors of wars, and earthquakes in divers places. Friends, if you and I cannot discern the signs of these times that we are in, then it is safe to say that we are in very real spiritual danger! My strong suggestion is that we who find ourselves in such a case make time to shut ourselves in with God, repent of our apathy, remove the "motes and beams" out of our eyes, and awaken out of sleep, for that which can be shaken will be shaken, as judgement continues first at the house of God, then nationally, and then out into the world! The spirit of lucifer, (which is the spirit of antichrist), is operating with increasing momentum in the world, yet the only entity that has any hope of impeding its progress is the body of Christ, the children of God, who are the children of light! Dear hearts, we must recognize this evil spirit at work and call it what it is! Unfortunately, many have chosen to close their eyes to to the truth of what is really happening beneath the surface of that which we can see and perceive, and have thus resigned themselves to spiritual uselessness, blinded and deceived by the spirit of this age, the prince and the power of the air, who is working feverishly to deceive. Take heart however, friends, for God is never taken by surprise, and is actively calling, raising up, and equipping those who would obey his directive to "be not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your minds." Romans 12:2 The practical way to accomplich this is to purposefully, methodically work to cultivate and develop a thoroughly biblical world view in every area of our lives. We are to purposefully renounce and reject any and all compromise with the spirit of antichrist, which is a worldly spirit! Make no mistake friends, the only hope for a people and nation that has lost its way, both now and historically, has been heartfelt repentance of sins, faith toward God, and simple obedience to God's word. In light of these truths, may we collectively develop eyes to see, ears to hear, and hearts to respond to the leadings, promptings, and urging of the Spirit in this critical hour!
